Squash and Lentil Dahl in the Slow Cooker

Give this easy dahl a go and it’s sure to become one of your favourite meals!

Serves 8 approx
Put the following in a slow cooker:
1 clove garlic crushed
1 x5m00g approx bag of chopped frozen butternut squash
1 tin chopped tomatoes
300g dry red lentils
1l chicken or veg stock
1 tsp cumin
1tsp coriander
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp mango chutney
Cook for 4+ hours on high or 7+ on low
You can also add frozen peas and soya beans near the end
Serve with rice or cous cous or salad
