Fruity Flapjacks
These dairy and nut free flapjacks are a winner for kids and adults alike and great for a lunchbox treat.
Ingredients
- 1 ripe mashed banana
- 100g rolled oats
- 100g chopped dates or other dried fruit
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
Method
- Pre heat oven to 190 deg C
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl with hands or spoon
- Put baking paper into an oven tray (roughly 25x15cm)
- Spoon the mixture in and press down
- Bake for 25 minutes
- Cool in tray for 5 mins and then cool on a rack
- Cut into squares
- Keep in an airtight container for 2-3 days or in the freezer and remove as needed
