I am celebrating a non-scale victory today. One of the other reasons I started on this journey to health and fitness – apart from the major one of being fit for purpose for God – is that I wanted to reduce/eventually eliminate if no longer required my blood pressure medicines. After losing a little weight and beginning to exercise, my blood pressure has dropped and my GP has agreed that I can cut out one of my three tablets and that we’ll keep monitoring things to look out for future possible changes. This has given me the boost I needed to keep going.
